Privacy Policy

Last updated: 12 August 2026

This policy explains what personal information Kerb Digital collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it. We only ask for what we need, and we look after it carefully.

1Who we are

Kerb Digital is a trading name of Rightbox Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 12645057, registered office Creative Industries Centre, Glaisher Drive, University of Wolverhampton Science Park, Wolverhampton, West Midlands, WV10 9TG. We are the data controller for the personal information you give us. You can reach us any time at hello@kerbdigital.com.

2What we collect

When you get in touch or enquire through our website, we collect the details you give us: your name, email address, phone number if you provide one, your business name, the service you are interested in, and anything you write in your message. If you go on to become a client, we also hold the information we need to build and look after your website.

3How we collect it

We collect it directly from you, when you fill in our enquiry form, email, call or message us, or work with us as a client. Our enquiry form opens your own email app with the details ready to send, so your message reaches us by email.

4Why we use it, and our lawful basis

We use your information to reply to your enquiry and put together a quote or free demo, to build and look after your website, to keep in touch about your project, and to meet our legal and accounting obligations.

Our lawful bases for this are your consent, performing our contract with you, our legitimate interest in running and improving our business, and our legal obligations.

5Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We share it only where it is needed to run our service, for example with trusted suppliers who host our website and handle our email, and with our accountant or HMRC where the law requires. Where a supplier processes data outside the UK, we take steps to make sure it stays protected.

6Cookies and third-party services

Our website does not use tracking or advertising cookies. Some of the services we rely on to deliver the site, such as our website host and web fonts, may collect limited technical information like your IP address as part of serving the page securely.

7How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details only as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry. If you become a client, we keep your information for as long as we work together, plus the period we are required to keep it for legal and tax purposes.

8Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask us to:

  • show you the information we hold about you
  • correct anything that is wrong
  • delete it
  • stop or limit how we use it
  • provide a copy in a portable format

To do any of these, just email hello@kerbdigital.com and we will sort it.

9Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

10Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The version published on our website is the one that applies, and the date at the top shows when it last changed.

11Contact

Any questions about your privacy or this policy, please email hello@kerbdigital.com and we will be glad to help. You can also read our terms and conditions.
